The office will be closed for the holiday on August 1.

I will be away from August 5-19, and will only be offering virtual sessions in the morning during the week of August 15-19.

I will be away at a conference from September 21-24.

** Office hours are Monday-Friday, 9 AM to 2 PM. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, I will still be working as a hybrid model, with both virtual and in-person appointments available on all days (depending on your comfort level and preference).

I am unable to offer psychological assessments and evaluations at this time. 

Unfortunately, I’m not able to accept new clients at this time, as I anticipate that I’ll be fully booked for the foreseeable future. If you’re seeking therapy sooner, I can suggest a few colleagues who may have earlier availability.

Through psychotherapy, I utilize validated techniques and treatment procedures, in a non-judgmental and supportive environment, that can help you to work through problems, uncomfortable/intense feelings, or other mental health issues that may be of concern to you.

The biggest and most important step on the path to self-improvement is to have better self-awareness and a better understanding of who you are. This requires getting to know the not-so-pretty parts of yourself, which can be easier with a non-judgmental therapist at your side who can help guide you on your path to self-discovery.

 
 

WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR FIRST VISIT

Our first session together is a “get to know one another” meeting to ensure that we will work well together and that I am the best person to help you with your issues. I will try to understand your current difficulties and why you sought help at this time. Once we both agree to work together, we will collaborate on developing a treatment plan tailored to your needs.

 

I implement effective psychotherapy methods to instill self-understanding among clients and encourage them to adopt healthier attitudes and feelings towards life situations. It is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a "magic pill" or a "quick-fix": therapy is a healing process that necessitates participation and investment from both the client and therapist alike. But in the end, making small changes to maladaptive/unhealthy behaviors and thinking styles, as well as learning to cope with feelings of sadness, fear, and pain, can bring life-altering results.
